Speaker Bio
Polly Collingridge leads the Cultural Intelligence Centre UK as senior business consultant. She has the privilege of speaking regularly with a wide range of private and public sector clients (from multinational corporations to the NHS) about the intercultural challenges they are experiencing, then liaising with a global network of facilitators to craft customised solutions.
Polly is a CQ Certified Facilitator herself, having worked as a freelance intercultural trainer. She has also worked in sales and service delivery roles within global mobility and employee wellbeing and spent over a decade in international book publishing, running the rights sales department at Canongate Books where she was also a board member.
Polly has an MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology and a degree in Italian and Spanish. Although she was born and (mostly) raised in London, she has also lived in Italy, Costa Rica, Mexico, Ireland and the USA. Polly has always been fascinated by different languages and cultures – even teaching herself the basics of Esperanto at the age of 10! She is passionate about the role of CQ in helping us work towards a more equitable society in which we all understand each other a little better.
